About TeenTober
TeenTober is a nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October to celebrate teens and their home with libraries. We're promoting year-round teen library services and the exciting ways these services help teens learn new skills and fuel their passions in and outside the library. We invite teens to take advantage of reading in all its forms - books, magazines, eBooks, comics, audiobooks and more. Also, our libraries currently offer all kinds of programs just for teens. TeenTober is here to promote these programs, share the fun of YA literature, and raise awareness of how much our libraries value teens!
Parents, studies show that reading for fun improves students' test scores. It's also important to talk about reading with family and friends. You can model this behavior by asking your kids what they are reading, visiting the library, and making reading a part of your daily routine.

Upcoming Teentober Events
Celebrate National Coming Out Day (October 11) with crafts and an author visit from Scott E. Garrison, author of the LGBTQ+ coming-of-age book, From the Universe to Me.
Come by and make a spooky squishy! This craft is cute, fun, and easy to replicate with supplies from home.
This is a drop-in program and will go from 2-4pm or while supplies last.

Come to the Teen Area for a gaming session. We will have some games to choose from, or you can bring your own.
Teens only!
Teens & Tweens! Thursdays are YOUR day in the library. Watch our online calendar for game nights, art classes, activities and all kinds of fun just for you. Registration is required.
