Brief Job Description:

Hiring salary is $51,001.60 to $62,483.20 annually.  Exact compensation negotiable based on skills and experience.

Summary:  Manages and schedules the library’s age-specific programming and outreach services including developing, planning, promoting, coordinating, and directing a variety of programs and events that serve diverse populations. Performs duties requiring considerable judgment and initiative in planning and overseeing both on-site and community-based programming and outreach services for age-specific groups.

This position is assigned to the Outreach and Engagement Services division of the Metropolitan Library System, which is located at the Downtown Library, 300 Park Avenue in Oklahoma City, OK  73102.

Audio Visual Support Technician

Brief Job Description:

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Audio Visual (AV) Support Technician supports complex AV systems from inception through operations at all Metropolitan Library System (MLS) locations. Supports conference room and auditorium setup and operations, presentation and/or sound system setup and operations, and video conferencing system setup and operation. Works closely with the Information Technology (IT) team for configurations and support; works with staff and guests to maximize the use of the AV systems and applications. Monitors, maintains, and supports AV operations including ensuring connectivity and maintenance and testing of equipment. Handles all AV responsibilities, including entering, escalating, and closing AV-related help desk tickets promptly.

This position is assigned to the IT Department located at the Downtown Library, 300 Park Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102.

Summary:  Under general supervision, provides high-level technical support for library computers, installs new and replacement hardware, diagnoses operational problems, repairs, and services equipment, builds data communications cables, participates in major communication and mainframe upgrades, maintains equipment inventory, and orders supplies and parts.

This position is assigned to the Information Technology division of the Metropolitan Library System, which is located at the Downtown Library, 300 Park Avenue in Oklahoma City, OK  73102 and is classified as safety-sensitive.

Positions start at $15 per hour.
