Provides comprehensive information on sources of education-related financial aid sponsored and administered by private organizations and companies.
Science Online
Comprehensive, curriculum-oriented overview of a broad range of scientific disciplines. Content is organized by subject area and type of resource, as well as by Common Core, state, national, and national STEM standards. Science Online includes thousands of experiments and activities, articles, biographies, diagrams, timelines, videos and animations, a science dictionary, and more.
Science Reference Source
Designed to meet student’s science research needs, Science Reference Source contains hundreds of science magazine and journal articles, encyclopedias, and reference books. Students can also discover science projects, multimedia items on various science topics. This resource is provided by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
TOPICsearch
Designed for students in grades 5-12, this database explores social, political and economic issues, scientific discoveries, and other popular topics discussed in today's classrooms. It has full-text coverage of thousands of international newspapers, magazines, public opinion polls, pamphlets, biographies, book reviews, and more. This resource is provided by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
Collections

Lote4Kids
Lote4Kids is an early reader resource that provides digital titles in more than 65 languages. In any selected language, users can find an English edition of the title, and flipbooks which allow the the user to listen to an audio edition as the words are highlighted when spoken by the narrator. Lote4Kids also provides titles in various sign languages such as ASL, BSL, NZSL, and Auslan. Beyond reading materials, users can download free activities and play online games that improve reading and typing skills.

Grass Roots Press - Hoopla
Grass Roots Press is a niche publisher, specializing in resources for adults with limited literacy skills. They have an international reputation for publishing high-quality materials for adult basic education and English language learners. This collection can be accessed through Metro's subscription to Hoopla digital. It can be found independently by searching for "Grass Roots Press" in the publisher field using the Advanced Search function.

TumbleBook Library
The TumbleBook Library has over a thousand always available eBooks for elementary school students. It includes animated talking picture books, chapter books, videos, non-fiction titles, and graphic novels as well as learning activities for literacy and reading comprehension such as puzzles, games, quizzes, and lesson plans.
