Do you like sharing recipes, stories, books, craft ideas, watching little known movies and discussing all kinds of cultures- including diversity and pop culture? Yes?! Each month we will have a different shared experience - maybe a recipe? movie? craft?
This month - Egyptian Saidi dance! This is a folk dance from Upper Egypt. Our presenter will provide a brief discussion about the Saidi people, how the dance is portrayed in the home vs. on stage, and the musical instruments used for Saidi. Come participate and be part of an experience!
