Adventure begins at the Downtown Library! Join us once a week between June 18th to July 13th. We have transformed our Children's Programming room into "Camp Downtown". Each week we will feature a new camp craft.

We have yarn and needles, and we're ready to knit! We will start with the basics and learn to knit together. Shown to reduce stress and foster a sense of calm, knitting serves as a creative outlet and can aid us in building healthy community.

Have a yarn project you have been working on? Join us as we gather in a safe space to share our yarn expertise and learn from one another. We will be working the same pattern until the project is completed.

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Arts and crafts exercises are a great way to expose your child to different ways to express their creativity and promote positive self-esteem.

Let your imagination soar at this special arts and crafts program made for kids! Heartlocke Studio's own Ms. Elizabeth will provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings.

Let your artwork journey through the skies by making your own Adventure Kite!

With a little paper, glue and your imagination create a kite by taking inspiration from your favorite adventurous stories.

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more! For ages 12-18.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Let's take care of our bird friends! Stop by the library to make a birdfeeder for your front yard. While you're here, pick up some nature books to learn about the great outdoors. 

OKCMOA will develop art making activities around the special exhibition on view at the Museum that summer.

Let's make something! Using small colorful beads, we will make shapes, characters and anything of your imagination!

Come join us to put together jigsaw puzzles! We will be having fun assembling puzzles for adults and teens. Also, you are welcome to bring a jigsaw puzzle in good condition (with a box, no missing pieces please) and trade for another puzzle.
