Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting or any other type of fiber arts? Then come join us every third Saturday of the month.

Best for kids ages 3-5 who are able to sit through a little bit longer book than toddlers, and ready for more school-readiness activities.

Art is for anyone at any age! Help the littlest artists in your life explore drawing, painting, and so much more as we create beautiful, messy art.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Learn the Art of Quilling and Celebrate the Life of Georgia O'Keeffe!

We will be creating a greeting card with a quilled flower design.

Join us for Preschool Paint & Play, a program where preschoolers can unleash their imagination! In each program we will explore a different art medium, allowing children to explore their creativity while getting a little messy.

Tweens meet at the library on the 2nd Wednesday of the month to practice their art skills. Feel like drawing today? Perhaps you're in the mood to paint - let's work on that.

Woodcarving 101

Join us at the Southern Oaks Library this March for a month-long excursion into the world of paper crafts! Each week will feature a different paper craft for guests of all ages to participate in!

Have trouble starting or even finishing a sketchbook? Looking to build a portfolio? This program is for all artistic levels. The goal with this program is to develop a curiosity around sketchbooks as a tool for furthering your creative practices.

Come enjoy an afternoon at the library and learn beading! This month we will explore using the herringbone stitch to make Celtic knot style jewelry with beads.

Get creative and make a beautiful rose wreath using coffee filters! In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to dye, shape, and assemble coffee filter roses, then arrange them into a decorative wreath. All materials provided.

The Cricut is a computer-controlled cutting machines, designed for home crafters. The machines are used for cutting paper, felt, vinyl, fabric and other materials such as leather, matboard, and wood.
