Week Calendar

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Put on your (child-friendly) costumes, bring the whole family, and join us for a special Halloween-themed storytime followed by a costume parade around the library to trick-or-treat and a craft!

Please register each child individually.

Visiting the hospital can be a scary and strange experience for kids. Far from home and placed in a hectic situation, they easily can become overwhelmed.

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Do you want to learn to knit? In this program we will learn the skills needed to make a baby hat.

Get ready for an hour of festive fun at the Southern Oaks Library Fall Festival! Celebrate autumn with a variety of exciting games and crafts. Join us on October 16 starting at 2pm. 

Ooey, gooey, slimy. Buying slime in stores or online can be expensive compared to making your own. Join us and concoct your very own slime recipe. 

Hey kids, come craft with me!

Paper crafts, glitter & glue, paint & markers... I love it all! Let's work on some seasonal crafts together.

Join us at the Downtown Library for our newest after-school program, Backyard Buddies!! Come learn about cool rocks, cool bugs, cool bugs you find under cool rocks, and more!!

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more! For ages 12-18.

Join the Wright Library at EmpowerOKC: Lilyfield. We will have multiple spooky themed crafts for families to complete together. This program is targeted for school aged children in grades K-5th. 

Join us for our version of a "Bad Art Party!" The Library will provide all the random supplies you need to create the best or worst art piece ever, but if you would like to bring a project with you, feel free!

Calling all teens! Come to the library to spend some time with other teens, enjoy a craft, and make new friends! 

Do you want to be one of the best Pokémon trainers? Come meet other fans and bring your Pokémon cards to partake in some old school card trading and battling among other Pokémon-related activities.

Get ready to raid the pumpkin patch and decorate a no-carve pumpkin with paint, glitter, feathers, pipe cleaners, and more! The Choctaw Public Library is hosting our third annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

Join us for a fun and creative session at our DIY Tote Makeover workshop! Learn how to personalize a tote bags using heat transfer vinyl and embroidery techniques.

Let's go on an animal adventure! Each month, we'll learn about a different animal, read a related story, and work on an animal craft or activity together. 

3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30PM.

We invite children to unleash their creativity and craft unique monster-themed trick-or-treat bags just in time for Halloween! Young participants will design and decorate their bags using a variety of materials and spooky embellishments.

Guests will choose vinyl designs cut with Cricut to create a trick-or-treat bag. Recommended for first-time and new Cricut users. 

Blast off with your imagination at the Ralph Ellison library as we kick off the new Lego Club. Lego dreamers of all ages and experience levels welcome.​
