Program Description

Event Description

Do you want to learn to knit? In this program we will learn the skills needed to make a baby hat. (If you don't have a baby in your life who needs a hat, we will be collecting finished hats for donation.) In-person instruction will be provided for casting on, knitting in garter stitch, and casting off/finishing a hat.

We will provide yarn and knitting needles. We'll have in-person help, a printed pattern, books you can check out, and videos you can watch at home.

Already know a little knitting but need some help? Bring your project in. Don't need help, just want to knit with us? You're absolutely welcome-- crocheters too!

Registration is recommended, but not required. This is a four-program series on Saturdays in October; we will be covering the same basic information at each program, so you don't need to worry about falling behind.
