Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Add a splash of color to your summer reading adventure and join us as we explore the vibrant world of Choctaw beadwork. In this program, you will learn about the significance of beading in Choctaw culture.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Color your world this summer at the library! This week, join us to make rainbow lollipops using modeling clay.

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame | Gaylord Pickens Museum proudly presents Oklahoma Originals. This educational program for 1st - 5th grade students is rooted in the story of Ralph Waldo Ellison, an author, essayist, musician, photographer, and scholar.

Join OKC Museum of Art as they lead participants in a craft related to the museum's collection. 

Join the Oklahoma State Fair as we discuss how easy it is to enter Creative Arts Contests!

Participants will learn a variety of basic embroidery stitches from Darci Lenker of Oklahoma Contemporary. Follow along with step-by-step instructions and a pattern, or create your own!

Color your world this summer at the library! This week, join us to make rainbow lollipops using modeling clay.

Today, our crafting theme is "Flowers." DIY options will include painting a flower pot, designing a flower crown, making paper flowers, and more!

Join us for an exciting exploration of Philippine weaving in a multitude of forms. Learn the significance of weaving to the indigenous cultures of the islands.

Join us for a hands-on art experience where kids will explore the bold and expressive artwork of Edgar Heap of Birds!

Join us for a fun and relaxing guided painting experience! Our skilled instructor will walk you through creating your own masterpiece step by step, even if you've never picked up a paintbrush before.

Discover the joys of bookbinding at the Choctaw Library! In this program we will learn how to create a handsewn sketchbook/journal using a simple technique and few household items. 
 

Learn about cosplay in this five part series!

Kids will create a fun and easy piece of stained glass out of a paper towel. They will dye the towel using water & food coloring, cut out a design, and then glue it together to have a stained-glass effect.

Participants will learn how to "paint" with wool using needle felting. Follow along with Darci Lenker from Oklahoma Contemporary for step-by-step instructions!

Kids, Teens, come make some art by painting plaster figures. There will be a variety of different types of things to paint. Use your imagination and take home a piece of your painted art!

Learn the basics of decorating delicious cookies from a local professional baker! Space is limited--make sure to secure your spot!

Join OKC Museum of Art as they lead participants in an art project related to the museum's collection. Participants will explore the emotional and identity-shaping power of color through a variety of materials and creative techniques.

Join us for an exciting exploration of Philippine weaving in a multitude of forms. Learn the significance of weaving to the indigenous cultures of the islands.

Participants will learn how to mend holes in clothing using stitches meant to be seen. Bring one woven (non-stretchy) item with you to mend, like a pair of jeans with a hole. 

Come and "chill" out with some Christmas ornament crafts! There will be 4-5 Christmas ornament crafts with supplies and directions provided.

Participants will learn how to "paint" with wool using needle felting. Follow along with Darci Lenker from Oklahoma Contemporary for step-by-step instructions!
