Enjoy science, art, and literacy activities from home with these prepared activity kits! These Lit Kits include supplies for fun activities inspired by books on the Intermediate or High School Sequoyah list. Supplies are limited.

In honor of Library Card Sign Up Month, create your own tiny Village Library from our cardstock pattern, while learning about the library's history and future! Other library-related papercrafts included as well. 

Art is for anyone at any age! Help the littlest artists in your life explore drawing, painting, and so much more as we create beautiful, messy art.

Interested in knitting or learning how to knit?

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Express yourself in Teen Zine! Join us at the library for a creative journey where each teen crafts their own magazine spread reflecting their unique interests, passions, and identity.

Kids and Teens, please join us in making Shrinky Dink crafts! You can color provided materials or draw your own! We will melt the plastic and turn them into shapes and charms. You can make all kinds of creations!

Join us each month as we read and explore the Magic Tree House: Merlin Missions series by Mary Pope Osborne.

What is 3d printing? How can it be useful for me? These and many more questions will be answered in this one-hour exploration of additive manufacturing that you can do at the library.

Join us for a Book Adventure! Meet with other kids to discuss a great book. We will have a snack and play a game, or make a craft. Books chosen are usually a picture book or short chapter book that has appeal for kids 6 to 11 years old.

We have yarn and needles, and we're ready to knit! We will start with the basics and learn to knit together. Shown to reduce stress and foster a sense of calm, knitting serves as a creative outlet and can aid us in building healthy community.

Calling all makers! Maker Meetup is a place to talk with other people just like you who prefer to make what they can on their own and to personalize the rest.

Whether you've never wielded a paintbrush before or you're an accomplished artist already, join us to learn about a new artist each month and complete a project based on their work. 

Celebrate your love for literature by decorating the edges of your favorite book! This event will include supplies, instructions, and ideas for ways to memorialize your fondness with a unique design. 

Bring Your Own Book!

You’re never too young or too old to make art! Join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for open-ended creation inspired by different artists and techniques. Children age six and younger should be accompanied by an adult.
