Come join us on a journey of playful learning - a special weekly get together created just for little ones and their caregivers. Activities will include music, movement, stories, and playtime adventures for children under 5.

Visit us for a little caffeine and conversation! At this come-and-go event you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with friends, and we'll be there to answer questions about library services and events.

Do you enjoy making your own greeting cards? Show someone you care by making your own holiday greeting cards, and share your favorite holiday stories in the meantime! Coffee and hot chocolate will be served.

The program introduces school aged youth to coding concepts and resources readily available at the library, and to help them create a community of practice where, regardless of skill level, youth are able to help and be helped by peers.

Youth ages 9-14 will learn coding and computer programming skills, and use those skills to create their own games and projects! This is an 8-week course and participants are expected to participate in all 8 sessions.

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday. A similar club exists at multiple libraries.

Crazy 8s is an over-the-top recreational after-school club that gets kids excited about math. You'll build glow-in-the-dark structures, crack secret spy codes and play get-up-and-move games like Toilet Paper Olympics.

Want to be a better reader? Simply read! Reading for just 20 minutes a day is guaranteed to improve your reading skills. Rocket Readers is a reading program for children with games, incentives and one-on-one reading time with volunteers.

Do you need a little extra help with your homework? Are you struggling with a specific subject or just want general help? Come by the library once a week on Tuesdays to help get back on track.

Join the Lunar Sooners from OU to peer through telescopes at the heavens. Learn about stars, constellations, and astronomy. Afterward, grab an armful of bedtime books and enjoy a starry family storytime at home!
