Learn the basics of English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This introductory level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm.

Learn the basics of becoming a U.S. Citizen! The Southern Oaks Public Library is partnering with Community Literary Centers to provide free weekly classes that explore the steps of the naturalization process.

Join us on the 4th Thursday for an engaging community where anime enthusiasts aged 16 and up come together to explore the diverse world of anime and manga.

Open to all teens aged 12-18. Apply online so that you can receive volunteer hours for your participation. New members may join in September or January.

Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.

Write poetry in 28 Words! Classical Chinese Jueju is a four line poetry stanza using 7 words per line creating a balance between the "Yin and Yang" elements of sound.

No matter your level of experience there is something to gain from these all level classes. Yoga has numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased blood flow, better posture, balance, and more!

April 25^th, Join us for a free computer class led by the Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) presenter from the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC). These classes can help towards GED or college credits.

Homeschool teens! Come meet new friends and have some fun at this monthly drop-in crafts program. We will have a variety of crafts around the room to choose from. This event will be come-and-go; no need to stay for the entire two hours.

Join us every Monday and Friday that the library is open down in the first floor atrium. We have fantastic volunteer pianists playing our baby grand piano.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Calling all young readers! Join us as we discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more! Books clubs are an excellent way for children to develop language and conversation skills, solve problems, and make new friends.

Join us after school for arts and crafts! Each Friday, come do a craft while you hang out with friends. We'll be doing all sorts of things, from bad art night to zines to paper mache!

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

Join us for another minecraft meetup at Southern Oaks! This month we will be making a spring themed craft and playing in our world. 

Free Scanning Day Hosted by Metropolitan Library System and the Luther Historical Society to help preserve your important documents and cherished memories.
