Have an idea for a comic, but not sure where to start? This program will show the steps of designing characters, writing scripts with strong beats, and laying out pages, everything you need to know to get your comic started. 

Get ready to cut, create, and explore! In this workshop, kids will use cut paper to create colorful images.

Love anime, manga, K-pop, or K-dramas? Learning an Asian language? Want to visit an Asian country?

Needlefelting is traditionally used to make fluffy, plush creations, but did you know you can use it as a painting technique too? Join us to learn all about how to make a painting by stabbing! You will leave with a completed project.

Participants will learn the process of creating a comic strip with characters, story ideas, and layouts. Been a longtime fan of favorites like Peanuts, Garfield, and Calvin & Hobbes? Now you can make your own! 

Bridge Building Challenge: Engineering Fun with Popsicle Sticks!

Are you a seasoned chess player looking to get in some more practice or help bring new players into the game, or a new player looking to dip their toes into the world of chess? This all ages, all skill levels program will help you do just that!

Gather your team of up to 4 people to compete against other groups in a timed jigsaw puzzle competition. Teams will have 90 minutes to put together their puzzle - each team will be working on a 500 piece puzzle provided by the library.

Come learn how to use CAD software and 3D modeling to prepare designs for 3D printing. We'll show you how to turn common shapes and turn them into amazing creations. We'll also help you bring some of them to life with our 3D printer!
