Event Description
Interested in DIY, creative expression, and independent voices? Our second ever Metro Zine Fest is the perfect event for you.
What's a Zine? Short answer: a self-published booklet, kind of like a DIY magazine, which can be made by anyone about just about anything.
We'll have panels on the creative process, collaboration, and storytelling.
Learn from subject matter experts about skills that will help make your work even more amazing.
Try your hand at making your own zines, whether it's your first time or your hundredth, at our zine makerspace.
Get to know local zinesters in the Artist Alley.
And check out fun zine how-to's and mini documentaries in the Auditorium.
