So much more than books! Join us as a librarian introduces little ones to the library and shows parents/caregivers how to create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying rhymes, songs, books, and a craft.

This local outreach activity is called Srendipitous Story Time with Ms. Saidah at MLK Jr Elementary School library. I host a sotry for at least three 2nd grade classes this month and promote reading and the public library.

No matter your level of experience there is something to gain from these all level classes. Yoga has numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased blood flow, better posture, balance, and more!

Please register each participating child individually. Do not use special notes to add additional children.

Join us for free computer classes that will cover the basics of computer usage and navigating the internet! This is part of a series of computer classes. Attend all three or one! Registration is required. Limited space.

The Pet Food Pantry of Oklahoma, Central Oklahoma's Food Bank for Pets, will bring their mobile food pantry to the Ralph Ellison parking lot to give away food for your dog or cat. Food available while supplies last.

Join us every Monday and Friday that the library is open down in the first floor atrium. We have fantastic volunteer pianists playing our baby grand piano.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Join us after school for arts and crafts! Each Friday, come do a craft while you hang out with friends. We'll be doing all sorts of things, from bad art night to zines to paper mache!

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

Join us for Preschool Paint & Play, a program where preschoolers can unleash their imagination! In each program we will explore a different art medium, allowing children to explore their creativity while getting a little messy.

This month's book club meeting we're discussing: "Table for Two" by Amor Towles.  Visit the library or call us to reserve previous book club titles today!

Using buttons and salt shakers as vases, we'll be making beautiful button flower bouquets. Any leftover buttons will be used to make button mosaics. 

Whether you're a history enthusiast, genealogist, or community volunteer, this program will provide the knowledge needed to properly clean and preserve cemetery headstones.
