Welcome to the Warr Acres Library English Conversation Club! Come practice your English conversation skills in a friendly and relaxed setting. ESL learners of all skills are encouraged to attend.

This 6 week interactive class works with parents to build a toolbox full of education, tips, tricks, and strategies for supportive parenting.

Learn the basics of becoming a U.S. Citizen! The Southern Oaks Public Library is partnering with Community Literary Centers to provide free weekly classes that explore the steps of the naturalization process.

Origami Challenge

Adults16+ Come join us in creating plastic flowers. These are versatile and can be made into jewelry, or just great decorations. These are made using shrink plastic and they shrink to about 1/3 of their original size.

Embark on an epic adventure in our Dungeons & Dragons campaign! Whether you’re new to the world of tabletop role playing games or just curious about the game, all are welcome to join.

Participants will learn how to mend holes in clothing using stitches meant to be seen. Bring one woven (non-stretchy) item with you to mend, like a pair of jeans with a hole. 

Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available. 

Participants will learn a variety of basic embroidery stitches from Darci Lenker of Oklahoma Contemporary. Follow along with step-by-step instructions and a pattern, or create your own!

Come learn how to dance to the swing music of 1930's America. We'll teach you a partnered and solo dance style, so come alone or bring some friends!

Curious about rocks and how they are formed? Members of the Oklahoma Rock Club will be here to teach us about the formation cycle of Earth's many beautiful and colorful rocks.
