Come join us on a journey of playful learning - a special weekly get together created just for little ones and their caregivers. Activities will include music, movement, stories, and playtime adventures for children under 5.

Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.

Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing.

Prepare for the HiSET exam in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This class meets every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. 

Improve your English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This beginner level class meets every Monday and Wednesday from 1:00-3:00pm. 

Let's get stronger together! Evidence suggests that Tai Chi is an effective means of improving balance, strengthening muscles and building confidence to prevent falls.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3. For adults and teens.

Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Learn basic, and advanced dance steps with dance instruction Gene Fowler. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary.

Celebrate STEAM at Ralph Ellison!

Each month we will put out a variety of activities for students to engage with and explore. There will be art projects, science experiments, and creative play. Come see what's in the Lab! 

Be a master chef and make something delicious. Participants will create their very own personalized snack mix from a variety of available ingredients. No registration required. Kids and teens welcome!

Join us for our second annual pie-a-Librarian program! Kids and teens who have read 5 Sequoyah or Donna Norvell books will have the opportunity to pie a librarian in the face!

Some things, they just don’t teach you in high school. This workshop will cover ten financial skills everyone should know before tackling their 20s and 30s.

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Practice makes perfect in sports, and the same is true in school. Join us on Wednesdays to practice reading with a volunteer or get help with your homework. No registration is required. Recommended for grades K-6.
