The Southern Oaks Library Fan Fiction and Fan Art contest was founded by John Hilbert. In dedication to John's work, the contest continues to recognize the remarkable talents of people in our community.
February 1, 2024 is the first day to submit entries to the Southern Oaks Library Fan Fiction and Fan Art contest. Fan Art may be any medium and contain original characters but must contain copyrighted characters as the main theme. Similar rules apply to Fan Fiction. The last day to submit your work is Friday, March 8h, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
We will display the works from March 18th to April 19th at the Southern Oaks Library. You can come by any time during this period to view the gallery. You will be able to pick up your certificate, judges' feedback, prizes, and submissions at our celebration event on April 20th at 10:00 AM. If you are unable to attend this event, pickup will also be available between April 20th and May 2nd.
