Event Description

Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding technique used by samurai to tie swords to their belts, along with more humble functions. Kumihimo is an easy way to make a beautiful and sturdy braid from multiple strands that can be used for bracelets, lanyards, key chains, necklaces and more!

We'll watch Your Name while we craft and discuss how this technique is present throughout the movie. For teens in grades 6 - 12.
