Wild About Crafts: Indigo Shibori Tie Dye

Do you enjoy DIY design? Join us for our Shibori Tie Dyeing Class where we will demonstrate techniques that will allow you to produce different designs on fabric. So what's Shibori? Shibori is an ancient Japanese dyeing technique in which cloth is folded, bound, twisted, or compressed to produce indigo patterns after treatment. We will supply everything you need, but you may bring your own additional natural fabric (cotton, linen) items such as clothing if you wish. We will be using a synthetic indigo and pink dye kit.
