Special Program for National Poetry Month: Pick Up Your Name and Write Your Poetry
Join biographer Betty Blanks as she shares some of Wilma McDaniel's poetry, and her story moving from Oklahoma to California during the Dust Bowl. Later OSU Oral History Professor and Librarian Karen Neurohr will lead participants through poetry writing exercises inspired by McDaniel's work. This program is appropriate for high school students and adults.

Open Mic Poetry Night. Are you an amateur, a seasoned poet, or somewhere in between and looking for someplace to express your talent? Local poets have an opportunity to read their own work or just sit and listen to the work of other budding poets. This is a recurring event and takes place on the last Monday of each month.
