Tiny Art Show Kit

Paint a tiny canvas and be featured in our Tiny Art Show 

Show off your artistic talent in our Tiny Art Show. We provide tiny canvases and supplies to paint; you bring creativity. No art skills required! Pick up a Tiny Art Show kit in the library starting June 20, paint your beautiful creation, then return the canvas to the library by July 3 to be displayed at the library in July starting with the reception on Thursday, July 13 from 6:30 to 8 pm. Kit will include paint, 4x4 canvas, and paintbrushes.  At the end of the art show, come collect your wonderful piece of art to continue enjoying it.  

Limited supplies available. Return your painting by July 3 to be featured in the art show.   

For ages 16 and up. 

Full details: 

1. Create a piece of art using the medium of your choice (paint, color pencils, etc.). If you use paint, please ensure that the canvas is completely dry before returning it to the library. 
2. Please do not use any canvas other than the one provided. Do not frame your canvas. 
3. You can choose the subject of your artwork, but please keep it family friendly. 
4. If it is unclear, draw an arrow on the back of the canvas to indicate the correct orientation (i.e. This side up). Sign your  information to the label on the back. 
5. Bring your finished artwork to the library by July 3. 
6. Our Gallery Art Reception will be on Thursday, July 13 between 6:30 and 8 pm. Please join us to show off your art to friends and family.  
7. Your artwork will be displayed at the library until the July 31. If you wish to keep your artwork after the art show, please pick it up by August 11 . 
8. By submitting your art, you are giving Belle Isle Library/Metropolitan Library System permission to publicly display, photograph and promote it.
