Event Description
This kit will help imitate famous painter Alma Thomas abstract paintings. Thomas debuted her abstract style at the age of 75 in 1966. She then became the first African American Women to have a solo show at Whitney Museum of Art in New York City. Using bubble wrap, paint, and cardstock, you will make a print that could resemble some of her famous paintings like The Eclipse or Breeze Rustling Through Fall Flowers.
