Event Description

Welcome to the Warr Acres STEM Club! Every month we will explore and learn something new in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

Have you ever wondered how suspension bridges with their towers and cables support the weight or load that is on the bridge? This month you will learn the difference between beam and suspension bridges and then you’ll build your own bridges to compare them and test their strengths.

STEM Club is geared toward approximate ages 8 -13, but any students up through age 18 are welcome.
