Program Description

Event Description

Trick or treat yourself! Learn the art of tie dye at the Wright Library and bring one item with you to make your own spooky surprise to take home.
Types of items you can bring to tie-dye: shirt, hoodie, socks, ball cap, tote bag, or fabric shoes.
Natural fibers, such as cotton, rayon, and silk work best.
Synthetic materials such as polyester, poly-cotton blends, nylon, Spandex, etc., do not absorb these dyes very well.
All items must be clean and pre-washed. They will need to be washed again at home, after they dry.
Only one item per person and registrations are required because - let's face it - everyone will be "dye-ing" to be here!
