Sparkle Like Dolly Party!

Good Golly, Miss Dolly, let's party! Southern Oaks Library is celebrating the iconic legend Dolly Parton's Birthday. Join us starting at 2pm on January 19th, Sunday. 

Sign the birthday card for Dolly, play games, take lots of pictures, and have some cake! And don't forget the glittery crafts! We will have a story time at 2pm and 3pm at the Children's Area along with Dog and Cat toy making which will be donated to a local animal shelter. 

Stop on by to the library and enjoy some of some fun! 

Registration is available but not required. All ages welcomes. 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that will provide a FREE book each month for a child from the time they are born until their 5th birthday. The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County is proud be the affiliate partner for this program in Oklahoma County*! This program is made possible by generous funding from the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System and the Library Endowment Trust.We support this program because we know that reading to and with children from an early age helps them develop their own strong reading skills.
