Event Description

Shibori (しぼり/絞り, from the verb root shiboru, "to wring, squeeze or press," is a Japanese manual tie-dyeing technique, which produces a number of different patterns on fabric. Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by learning this technique and using it to create an indigo-dyed tote bag.

Kits will be available in the teen area of the library on a first come, first served basis. One kit per family, please.
