Program Description
Event Description
Have you ever wanted to learn how to quilt or are you a quilter looking for a new challenge? Join us for our first read along, quilt along. Each month we will listen to a new chapter of the chosen book, learn a new quilting technique with "Creative bug", and make a quilt block inspired by the chapter. By the end of the year, each participant will have a completed lap sized quilt that is inspired by the book. This years book is Lewis Carrol's classic "Alice in Wonderland". This is appropriate for ages 8-100+. You can work on the quilt as a family, or as an individual. Fabric, notions and some machines will be available. If you own a sewing machine, we encourage you to bring it and we can teach you how to use it! Any supplies not used will be made into a kit the following week.
