Event Description
Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15) by creating papel picado! Papel picado, which literally means “punched” or “perforated” paper, is a traditional cut paper folk art found throughout Mexico and the former colonies of Spain. These colorful banners are used to decorate houses and streets for every major holiday. Make your own with this kit!
Kits are available on a first come, first served basis in the Teen Area of the library. Please limit one kit per family.
