Have you ever wanted to start a Journal?  Many famous writers, artists and original thinkers of our generation have kept journals, for many it is a creative necessity, for others, a place for exploration, and for some an art form in and of itself.  So if you're ready to get creative join us for a three part  series: Journaling @ the Downtown Library.  You can create your very own Wreck this Journal in March, create a Junk journal in April for Earth Day and an Art Journal at Geek Con in May!  Bring ticket stubs, pictures and any other items that you would want included in your journal. This month we will be creating a Junk Journal in celebration of Earth Day (April 22)!  A Junk journal is a handmade book made up of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, post cards, doilies, to name a few. Register for one, two or all three in the series.  We look forward to seeing you there!  Space is limited, registration required.  Ages 13+
