Program Description

Event Description

Join the Warr Acres Homeschool Code Club and learn how to write code, create websites, design games, apps, and more! Not only will you strengthen your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, but also have a great time working with others to create something amazing. We'll be using Fiero, a software program that teaches you how to code through hundreds of tutorials and dozens of real-world projects. It's self-paced, so you can jump in any time and join the fun whether you have no coding experience or you're already on your way to becoming a master coder!

For ages 8-18.

Bring your own device, or let the library know if you need to borrow one of our Chromebooks.

If you do bring your own device, please be aware that EPIC-issued ChromeBooks and some school-issued ChromeBooks will not connect with the library's Wi-Fi due to restrictions placed on the computers by the issuing school or organization. If you elect to bring your own device, please ensure that it will connect to the library's Wi-Fi since a Wi-Fi connection is required.
