Event Description
Calling all crafty kiddos: let's get weaving! August 7th is National Handloom day in India and we want to share this beloved craft with the community! The art of handweaving dates back to prehistoric times with the first thread, looms and needles being made from grass, stone, wood, and bone. While materials have evolved over time, the process is still much the same. Stop by the Northwest library and pick up a handloom weaving kit to create a woven masterpiece of your own.
This kit requires registration.
