Program Description

Event Description

Get in touch with your inner child this summer and explore paint as you haven't since preschool-- with your fingers! Don't worry about your nails; we will wear gloves (latex and powder free) as we learn acrylic painting techniques such as blending, creating depth and distance in a painting, and color mixing. Do worry about your clothing and wear something old or bring an art smock to cover it; our art will definitely be a little messy for this program.

This koi pond paint party is most suitable for teens and adults due to the content and materials we will use. Please make arrangements for younger children so you can relax and enjoy your time with us.

PLEASE cancel your registration if you later realize you cannot attend, so someone else can create in your place. Your registration will hold your place until ten minutes after the listed start time of the program. At 0:10, any remaining spaces will be given to those who are on the waitlist and present at the library, in the order they arrive.
