Event Description

Astronaut, Commander John Herrington, of Chickasaw heritage, became the first citizen of the Chickasaw Nation to fly into space. A US Naval officer and an astronaut, John Herrington served as commander of the NEEMO 6 mission where he lived and worked underwater for 10 days.

In this take-home kit, you will build your own model of the Aquarius Reef Base from simple supplies inspired by Herrington's mission.
