Teens ages 12-18, do you want to set up your own babysitting business? Do you have younger siblings your parents need you to watch? Then, Babysitting 101 is the program for you! Babysitters have a responsibility of caring for children and making important decisions while they are in charge. Join us during Spring Break for our 2-day workshop that will prepare you to provide a safe and fun experience for them.
You will learn learn important babysitting skills covering topics such as infant safe sleep and shaken baby syndrome, proper handwashing after diapering, basic first aid, and CPR/AED training. Each participant will receive a certificate, workbook, and babysitter bag full of items to be a great childcare provider.
This is a 2- day workshop, with CPR/first aid/AED training on the second day. You must attend the first day, in order to take the CPR class on the second day. If you register for DAY 1, you are automatically signed up for DAY 2.
Participants should bring their own sack lunch. Afternoon snacks will be provided.
