Event Description
Continue learning about famous artists with a suncatcher in the style of Piet Mondrian. Mondrian is known for his work with vertical black lines, white space, and primary colors. This activity makes a great learning activity for the littlest ones in your family who are still working on learning shapes and colors! This suncatcher is made using a transparency, so no glass to worry about breaking or dropping. Littles will make vertical lines with electrical tape using a provided template or they can make their own line placement. Each kit will have enough for two suncatchers, so if you want to make multiple or split the kit between two children you will have enough material.
Kits are one per FAMILY and can be picked up at Northwest Library from Wednesday August 19th through Saturday August 22nd during curbside pickup hours. Duplicate registrants from the same family will be cancelled. Due to high demand for these kits, all print outs and instructions will be posted here on the SUNDAY after the last day of pickup so that families with siblings or others who may not have had the opportunity to register can reproduce the kit at home.
