Event Description
Let's continue our journey around the world - through art!
Join us each month with a new Take and Make Kit highlighting a different type of folk art from countries, territories, and people around the world. For our August trip, we will be “traveling” to Australia! Along with information about Australia and it's history - this Take Home kit will contain the instructions and most of the materials needed to make a replica didgeridoo, a wind instrument developed by Aboriginal peoples of northern Australia at least 1,500 years ago.
You will need to supply your own carboard tubes. You can use tubes from wrapping paper, toilet paper or paper towel rolls, or any other similar items.
