Why is the Metropolitan Library System working on a strategic plan?
The COVID-19 pandemic changed the way in which the communities served by Metro Library interacted with the library programs, materials and more. To ensure that the Metropolitan Library System is providing you with the information and services that best meet your needs, we need to understand your needs and how you experience the library.
How you can help the Metropolitan Library System develop their strategic plan?
We are seeking feedback on eight (8) parts of the library system that can effect our community:
• Collections - the materials we make available to you
• Communications - the methods in which we reach out to you and the community
• Convenience - the ease in which you and the community can interact with the library facilities and services
• Engagement - the way we interact with you and the community
• Facilities - how the 19 service locations are meeting your needs
• Programs - the educational and enrichment activities provided to you and the community
• Services - the services, and their quality, available to you and the community
• Technology - the technology that you access in and out of the library locations
