24/7 Library Kiosk at Mitch Park

 

About the 24/7 Library Kiosk

  • Holds up to 340 items in 3 rotating rows for easy browsing and checkout with your valid library card and PIN (your last name)  

  • Machine rotates selection every six minutes  

  • Access to online catalog available (touchscreen catalog on right side if facing book return) for easy browsing and requesting of additional items  

  • Two rotating slide display screens are located above customer input screen as well as large screen on left of unit  

  • Can be designated as a place to pick up requested items (holds) in the Library Catalog; Location is: Kiosk at Mitch Park-Edmond 

  • With your library card in hand and your PIN (last name) you can also return library items here. These items can be from any MLS location and will be sent to owning location. 

  • NOTE: eCard numbers do not currently work at the kiosk. Feel free to stop in at any of our libraries for a physical card.

Steps:

  1. Press Checkout button  
  2. Scan or enter library card number  
  3. Enter PIN (last name) 
  4. Enter 4 digit slot number  
  5. Repeat until you have received all the items you want to borrow  
  6. Print receipt optional

  2. Scan or enter library card number  
  3. Enter PIN (last name) 
  4. Insert items one at a time with barcode facing up 
  5. Door closes between each return  
  6. When finished returning, press done. 
  7. Print receipt optional

  1. Scan or enter library card number  
  2. Enter PIN (last name) 
  3. Hold items are shown at the top and press Next to dispense holds.  
  4. All holds available will dispense one at a time
  5. Print receipt optional 

Note: Holds expire after 8 days.


  1. While in our library catalog, find a book you wish to place on hold.
  2. Click the Place Hold button.
  3. If the catalog asks you to sign in, please sign in with your library card and last name.
  4. After signing in, you'll receive a pop-up menu to specify your pickup location.  Use the dropdown menu to select:  Kiosk Mitch Park - Edmond
  5. Click the Submit button.
  6. After your hold is available at the 24/7 library kiosk, you will be notified based on your notification preferences.
  7. Head to the 24/7 library kiosk with your library card (or number) and follow the prompts on the screen to retrieve your hold.

 

 

What do you need:

  • Library card and/or library card number
  • Your pin (which is your last name)

 

Note: eCards are not supported at the 24/7 library kiosk. Please visit your nearest location and exchange it for a physical card to use the 24/7 library kiosk.
