I know spin tops are a bit old school but that doesn’t mean they can’t be a lot of fun. Join us at the Southern Oaks Library March 18th, at 2pm. We will be re-purposing old CD's to make the Spinniest CD spinners ever.

You're going to be an architect and interior designer! Your task is to design your dream home with a budget. Think carefully about what rooms you need and want. Be creative and have fun while learning about budgeting, math, and architecture!

Watch Out Below! Operation Egg Drop is coming to Southern Oaks Library. 

The kids and adults can work together to kids to design a contraption using various materials (usually recyclables) to protect a raw egg from a high fall.

Week 1: Paper Collages

Explore the fascinating world of engineering through multiple bridge-building challenges.

Participants will learn the technique of needle felting to create a small soft sculpture. For kids age 9 to 13 and a parent/caregiver. 

Get ready for a hands-on adventure perfect for kids, families, and anyone who loves to build! Explore a variety of building blocks, from magnetic tiles to soft blocks, and enjoy a special toddler-friendly area for our littlest builders.

Join us at the Belle Isle Library for a fun and creative adventure that blends science and art! In this hands-on program, participants will explore the world of circuits by making their very own paper circuit artwork.

Sometimes using the simplest materials can be the most fun. Collaborate to design and construct a miniature cardboard city that will be displayed in the library foyer. What would your dream city look like? 

Let’s wrap up our Spring Break Build-A-Thon with a Building Block Party! LEGO blocks, KEVA planks, Magna Tiles, and gears –every type of building block that we have will be available to play with.

Step into an afternoon of fun at the library! Challenge your family to life-size versions of classic games, cozy up with beloved board games, and tackle mind-bending puzzles together.

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month to explore and learn more about science, technology, engineering, art, and math via an engaging activity or craft. Supplies will be provided. Recommended for ages 5 - 12.

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Help improve your child's reading skills with one-on-one reading help for kids ages 5-12! Students will be paired with volunteers for 30 minute sessions to work on reading and comprehension skills.

Power Hack is back!! This Edmond Library favorite returns this spring ready for a brand-new group of coders to join us for this six-week for coding club.

Do you want to be one of the best Pokémon trainers? Come meet other fans and bring your Pokémon cards to partake in some old school card trading and battling among other Pokémon-related activities.

Join the start of STEM events at the Almonte Library with an introduction to problem solving, critical thinking, and design processes with hands-on, real world examples of designing a solution to practical problems!

Del City Library's LEGO Club is back! Join other LEGO fans to engineer some fun. Imagine, create, play, and learn as we build with LEGOs. 

LEGO Club is the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Come create your own diorama based on a meme! Come create with materials provided. (You may also bring items of your own such as toys and action figures for characters and etc.)

Celebrate the first day of Spring by decorating your very own birdhouse using birdseeds and other edible ingredients. Create a cozy spot for local birds while letting your imagination soar.

Join us after school for arts and crafts! Each Friday, come hang out with friends while we do a fun craft. This craft involve small, colorful, plastic beads that are fused together with heat to create patterns and designs. Lets get creative!!

This program is intended for children learning to read and practicing reading aloud.

Join us for a Book Adventure! Meet with other kids to discuss a great book. We will have a snack and play a game, or make a craft. Books chosen are usually a picture book or short chapter book that has appeal for kids 6 to 11 years old.

Let's go on an animal adventure! Each month, we'll learn about a different animal, read a related story, and work on an animal craft or activity together.
