Morning Movie Club is a weekly opportunity to watch international films and documentaries in the comfort of the library! Each week, we will be watching a different movie about exciting topics and interesting people, so come join us!

Looking to reduce stress and improve your overall health in the new year? If so, please join us each Friday morning for this 30 minute advanced Tai Chi course.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler craft time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

No matter your level of experience there is something to gain from these all level classes. Yoga has numerous benefits, such as increased flexibility, improved muscle strength, increased blood flow, better posture, balance, and more!

Learn to make a 63 different stitch heirloom sampler blanket together. Heirloom samplers are excellent ways to grow your crochet abilities whether this is your first time picking up a hook or you are an experienced hand.

Teens, show off your moves! Join us as we welcome instructors from RACE Dance Collective for this hip hop dance class. Learn new moves or brush up on your skills.

Join us each month for a Saturday Crafternoon and learn a new creative skill. Each month will feature a different type of craft, including book binding, print making, calligraphy and hand lettering, stamp making, and more!

Come explore some different types of puppets! And create some of you own! This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for a six week session of building, coding, and fun using Dash/Dot robots and Lego Mindstorms! All materials provided and no experience necessary. Ages 8-14.

Love reading British Literature? Join our Brit Lit Book Club and explore all the possibilities. Each month a British author will be chosen, a book selected, and we will enjoy a fun, spirited and stimulating conversation, maybe with a few laughs!

The Oklahoma City Ballet is happy to present this fun and interactive program in coordination with their upcoming The Nutcracker performance.

Join us each month as we read and explore the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. On the second and fourth Monday of the month, we'll journey with Jack and Annie to an exciting new place and time.

Help improve your child's reading skills with one-on-one reading help for kids ages 5-12! Students will be paired with volunteers for 30 minute sessions to work on reading and comprehension skills.

November is the month for Boredom Busters and Crafts. We have both here at the Southern Oaks Library. Attend on November 15th starting at 4pm, we will have a fall craft, a game to play, and other fun stuff!

Are you ready for adventure? Dungeons & Dragons is the original tabletop RPG! We welcome all players, from beginners to experienced. If you already have a character, feel free to bring it.

Practice makes perfect in sports, and the same is true in school. Research has shown that the best way for children to improve their reading, math, and science reasoning skills is through practice.

It's International Gaming Month! Bring the whole family and play a game or two with us! We will have board games, tabletop games and of course video games!

Tweens! Thursdays are YOUR day in the library. On the first and third Thursday of every month, we'll have classes, activities and all kinds of fun just for you.

Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.

Need legal advice? Lawyers in the Library is a free legal advice and referral service organized by the Oklahoma County Law Library and Attorneys in Oklahoma County. Consultations are offered on a first come, first served basis.
