Calling all makers! Maker Meetup is a place to talk with other people just like you who prefer to make what they can on their own and to personalize the rest.

Join us for a fun DIY Squishies workshop! Teens will learn basic sewing techniques to create their own unique squishies using fabric and memory foam stuffing. All materials provided. Come ready to sew, stuff, and have a great time! 

Slime Time! Like making slime? Come create ooey-gooey slime at the Bethany Library .  

Come crochet with us! All skill levels welcome. We will be working on a reusable grocery bag - kit provided while supplies last. Feel free to bring your own project instead! Join us and share in community.

Let your imagination soar at our toddler art time! We will use an assortment of odds and ends to create our very own works of art. A librarian will be on hand to provide you with all the resources you need to spread your artistic wings!

Get inspired at the library! 

Stop by to create exciting projects using various art mediums, methods, and materials.

Come join us and share the love by making some toys and items for furry pals in need! The items created here will be donated to dogs and cats in need. All ages welcome but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

Come join us as we turn simple-looking paper strips into beautiful art by paper quilling. Paper quilling involves rolling, looping, curling and shaping paper strips and then combining them to create designs.

Join us for After School Art Hour at the Midwest City Library! Connect with other children and caregivers while kiddos create masterpieces. Supplies will be provided by the library. Be aware, this could get messy!

Every Tuesday we will have a different Maker activity in the library! Stop by to see what we're doing.

Teens take over the Makerspace!  Each session will have a new challenge teens will solve using the tools in the makerspace. You'll gain hands on experience on the 3D printer, Cricut, embroidery/sewing machine, button maker and more!

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Come for the lemonade, stay for the games, crafts, and activities! We'll bring out our Nintendo Switch and compete in Mario Kart tournaments, play Exploding Kittens, do puzzles together, and more! For ages 12-18.

Guests will be taught the fundamentals of modeling shapes using CAD software. 

Channel your inner Jane Austen and learn the basics of hand embroidery! If you always thought embroidery was hard, it's not and it's really fun! We will cover some of the basic stitches and begin to create a sampler pattern.

You’re never too young or too old to make art! Join us the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for open-ended creation inspired by different artists and techniques. Children age six and younger should be accompanied by an adult.

Ready to get Knotty!

Unleash your creativity with larger-than-life origami! Then try your hand at origami miniatures.

Join us for an hour of painting and mocktails! We'll be guided through a video tutorial step-by-step by an artist to paint a masterpiece while we relax, chat, and enjoy some light refreshments. 

Grab your chainsword and turn the tide against the Tyranid swarm for the first Ralph Ellison Warhammer club. First session will be assembling armies followed by a brief rules overview. Second session on will be devoted to playing.

This program introduces participants to the timeless art of Sumi-e, a traditional Japanese painting technique known for its simplicity, elegance, and emphasis on capturing the essence of subjects with minimalistic strokes.
