Every Tuesday we will have a different Maker activity in the library! Stop by to see what we're doing.

Work on a painting for our Tiny Art Show in a supportive group environment! No registration required. This drop-in paint session is open to children, teens, and families who would like to work on their paintings together. 

Enjoy getting into the spirit of the season with us by helping decorate the library’s Christmas tree. Kids will make some fun holiday crafts. Check out some holiday books and DVDs while you're here.

We have yarn and needles, and we're ready to knit! We will start with the basics and learn to knit together. Shown to reduce stress and foster a sense of calm, knitting serves as a creative outlet and can aid us in building healthy community.

Enjoy good company and find out what's happening at your local library.  Come for coffee and crafts on the first Wednesday of the month.  We provide the place, the coffee and the materials.

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

Get creative at your library this fall with Creativity Lab! This month, join us to complete Minecraft-themed art projects. Registration is encouraged.

Come join us while we paint and sip on some *bubbly drinks!  Bring yourself and maybe a friend and take home a great piece of art.  You don't have to be an expert since we will guide you on what to do.  

Blast off with your imagination at the Ralph Ellison library Lego Club. Lego dreamers of all ages and experience levels welcome.​ 

Deck the Bottles  is a delightful holiday workshop that transforms ordinary wine bottles into enchanting Christmas decorations.

Calling all young readers! Join us as we discover new books, play games, make crafts, and more! Books clubs are an excellent way for children to develop language and conversation skills, solve problems, and make new friends.

Join our Artsy Fartsy program for teens at the library! Each session starts with a quick intro to a featured artist, followed by time for you to create your own artwork using provided supplies.

Kids and Teens, please join us in making Marbled Paper Creations! Make some decoratively painted paper!

Teens, join us on the first Thursday of every month for Anime Club! We'll start off with a Japanese-inspired craft and then watch three episodes of a popular anime.

Come in for a festive good time making Holiday themed zines with new and old friends! All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring in your own personal photos and decorations.

Join us for Preschool Paint & Play, a program where preschoolers can unleash their imagination! In each program we will explore a different art medium, allowing children to explore their creativity while getting a little messy.

Librarian will share stories, activities, and a craft with attendees. 

We love dinosaurs! Each month we'll learn about a different dinosaur, read a story, and work on a craft together. 

1st Saturday of the month 2-3PM

Teens, join us and learn acrylic painting techniques! This month, we will be painting a jolly gingerbread man. You will leave with a completed painting.

Do you enjoy DIY projects? If so, join us at the Choctaw Library where you will create your own paper snowflake ornaments!
