Join us on the fourth Thursday of each month for two hours of Family Gaming Night! Meet other game lovers, and learn how to play new games with them. We'll have a variety of tabletop and video games available and plenty of space to play them.

Bring your sewing machine and projects and quilt with friends! Don't have a machine? We have a few to borrow! Don't know how to quilt? We can get you started, or bring any needlework project to work on and enjoy the company!

Guests will choose a vinyl design cut with the Cricut to create a zippered bag for art supplies and/or pencil/school supplies. Recommended for new Cricut users. 

This is an open work day for those participating in our One Minute Animation Film Festival workshop.

Open to all teens aged 12-18. Apply online so that you can receive volunteer hours for your participation.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Friday from 1-3. For adults and teens.

Hispanic Heritage History Month is here! Join us to create foil art at the Southern Oaks Library to help celebrate the many influential Hispanic artists of the past and present. We will be using hot glue guns, foil, and sharpies.

Get ready for the fall season with some fun and festive button art! We'll be using hot glue guns to turn buttons into cute seasonal art. You can choose from a ghost or a pumpkin.

Did you miss out on one of our craft activities earlier this year? Do you have fond memories of childhood art class projects, or did you ever peer into the supply cabinets wistfully and want to try everything?

Get ready for cuteness overload as you create adorable needle-felted creations inspired by the game Stardew Valley! Make your own colorful Junimo, felt a cuddly chicken, or a delicious farm-fresh treat. All supplies are provided. Ages 13 and up.

Power Hack is back and better than ever!! This Edmond Library favorite returns this fall in a very special ADVANCED edition.

Get your hands in the soil and plant a fall garden this year with a few seeds from our seed library. We have a small collection of mostly vegetable seeds with some Oklahoma wildflower mixes and herb seeds sprinkled in.

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!

It's National Library Card Sign Up Month! Celebrate by learning about the resources available with your library card. Attend this short program at Southern Oaks Library to earn an additional entry in our drawing for Library Card Sign Up month.

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends and play Pokemon together. Bring your cards and games and get ready to trade! We'll have a limited amount of Pokemon cards to hand out to start your collection. 

Open Mic Poetry Night. Are you an amateur, a seasoned poet, or somewhere in between and looking for someplace to express your talent?
