ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!

We have yarn and needles, and we're ready to knit! Join us to learn the basics or work on an ongoing project.  All skill levels welcome.

Participants will learn how to create a soft sculpture out of wool with needle felting. Follow along with Darci Lenker from Oklahoma Contemporary for step-by-step instructions or make your own creation!

Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Learn basic, and advanced dance steps with dance instruction Gene Fowler. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary.

Welcome to the Warr Acres Library English Conversation Club! Come practice your English conversation skills in a friendly and relaxed setting. ESL learners of all skills are encouraged to attend.

This 6 week interactive class works with parents to build a toolbox full of education, tips, tricks, and strategies for supportive parenting.

Participants will learn how to mend holes in clothing using stitches meant to be seen. Bring one woven (non-stretchy) item with you to mend, like a pair of jeans with a hole. 

Join OKC Museum of Art as they lead participants in an art project related to the museum's collection. 

Join us as we paint a delightful citrus painting and sample some local sodas. Adults only!

Learn the basics of becoming a U.S. Citizen! The Southern Oaks Public Library is partnering with Community Literary Centers to provide free weekly classes that explore the steps of the naturalization process.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Cardio dance is a dynamic dance-based workout that is easy to follow and will offer a full body workout. Bring some water and your dancing feet for this fun and energetic class!

Gather your team of up to 4 people to compete against other groups in a timed jigsaw puzzle competition. Teams will have 90 minutes to put together their puzzle - each team will be working on a 300 piece puzzle provided by the library.
