Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Welcome to the Warr Acres Homeschool STEM Club! The second Thursday of each month we will explore and learn something new in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math. 

The Intermediate Tai Chi class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. Beginners Tai Chi or previous Tai Chi experience is helpful.

Calling all Preschoolers, ages 3.5-5! What will be going on at the library today? Something exciting just for you! Will it be playtime, storytime, parachute play, or music play? No matter what, it will be fun, so come and see!

Join the ultimate bubble party at the Big Bubble Bash! Mix up crazy bubble recipes, create colorful bubble art, and blow giant, party-sized bubbles.

Take a break! Join us to meet new friends or spend time as a family playing together. Playing tabletop games helps to build skills such as: problem solving, teamwork, spatial reasoning, and communication.

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

Love animation, or manga? Join us for The S.O. Animation Society, as we hang out, do a craft, and watch different genres of animation.

Teens, join us and learn the basics of embroidery, then put those skills to use by creating a work of art. Participants will leave with a completed embroidery image.

Improve your English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This intermediate level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm. 

Learn the basics of English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This introductory level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm. 

Come crochet with us! All skill levels welcome. Kits available while supplies last. Kit includes everything needed to make a tablet/eReader sleeve. 

Pattern includes chain and single crochet stitches.

Let the stress of the day melt away by joining us for sunset yoga. This class is a combination of meditation and gentle, restorative movements. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
