Free Comic Book Day is celebrated the first Saturday of May. Visit the Southern Oaks Library for fun and free comic books donated from the Free Comic Book Day foundation and our local Comic Book Store Atomik Pop!.

Sharing in playtime is an excellent way to help children build social skills, promote learning, and discover that the library is a destination for fun! This is a continuation from our D&D for Beginners. The adventures continue their adventures of learning how to play D&D.
Get together with your friends and family to celebrate Star Wars Day by building your version of TIE fighters, the Death Star, C3PO, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper helmets, or the iconic Mos Eisley cantina.
We love dinosaurs! Each month we'll learn about a different dinosaur, read a story, and work on a craft together.
