Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading.

Join us every Wednesday, 11:00am, at the Downtown Library for a baby storytime! Connect with other families in the community while engaging in stories, songs, lap bounces, and more!

Join us Monday through Thursday from 12:00-1:30 for summer lunch. Lunch is available for children ages 2-18.

Children ages 1-18 are invited to enjoy a meal from 12-2 p.m. at Ralph Ellison Library.

Meals are provided by Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Summer Feeding Program.

June is Pride Month. Come join us for a book reading and panel discussion. Local author M.L. Williams will be reading from their book "Twelve" and panelists will be present to discuss themes from the book as well as current events.

Hey there, young cowpokes! Ready for a rootin' tootin' summer of reading fun? Saddle up for this adventure where a storytelling cowboy shares tools of the trade and how to survive the Wild West.

Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3.

Defend yourself from a horde of ferocious dragons in this engineering-based program for children. Create, build, and test your own anti-dragon defense system against a variety of dragon hides.

The greatest adventures can be found in your favorite stories, and this program is full of STEAM activities inspired by them. Hands-on and creative challenges will abound in this STEM and literature!

Age Range: 6-12 (approximate)

The movements of Tai Chi help older adults reduce their risk of falling, while also increasing balance and flexibility. Participants learn ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow, continuous movements.

This isn't just any reading program – it's your ticket to the dusty trails, thrilling tales and the real-life legends of the West.

Join Oklahoma 4-H as they dive into our new eco and health literacy backpacks and show you all the fun ways you can explore our backpacks at home! 

Prepare for the U.S. Citizenship process in this class made possibly by Community Literacy Centers. This class meets every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm. 

Although we can't have wine at the library, you can make some cute charms to go around the stem of your glass.  

So come and make a set for those summer get togethers! 

Each person can make a set of 4 charms.

Blast off with your imagination at the Ralph Ellison library as we kick off the new Lego Club. Lego dreamers of all ages and experience levels welcome.​ 

During the civics test, you will answer questions abut American government and history. Our FREE class will help you study materials and resources to prepare you to pass the test!

Live and in color! Come join us for a movie discussion on films new and old. Each month we will be talking about a different film. There will be discussion questions, trivia, and popcorn provided!
