Join us for a storytime at your neighborhood library! Skilled librarians will introduce little ones to the library and show parents and caregivers invaluable information on reading readiness and create excitement about reading. Connect with others while enjoying stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and more!
Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.
Need a place to play games with friends, work on your computer, or just visit? Join us for Community Room time every Wednesday from 1-3. For adults and teens.
Come and explore the Young at Art Caldecott display after a Storytime themed around the engaging artwork of Caldecott winners throughout the years. Program will run every Tuesday-Saturday at 2 pm while the display is at Downtown.
Glitter and glue and markers and tape... these are a few of my favorite things! Join us every Friday afternoon at 2:00PM in the children's area for an hour of come-and-go craft time.

After exploring the Young at Art Caldecott display students can come and try their hand at a variety of art themed stations. Stations are designed for Kinder - 5th Grade students and should be enjoyed with a parent or guardian.
It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
