Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating robotic games while learning about robotics. In this program, students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create robots inspired by the world of Angry Birds!

Youth ages 9-14 will learn coding and computer programming skills, and use those skills to create their own games and projects! Prior coding knowledge is welcome but not necessary.
It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning.
Chess sets may also be checked out for in-library use at any time by visiting the information desk. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
